In an appearance this morning on CNN's State of the Union, Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, R-Texas, said she's "not going to backtrack" on her criticism of Gov. Rick Perry, her rival in the 2010 GOP gubernatorial primary, now that he's running for president. "I thought that we needed a choice in Texas, and I certainly feel the same way about the United States," Hutchison told host Candy Crowley, adding, "When you've been in office for a long time, you have a record, and that record is fair game. I think that some of the things in his record have certainly not been helpful."
