Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst and former Texas Solicitor General Ted Cruz, both candidates for the Republican U.S. Senate nomination, launched new television ads this morning on the same topic: Ted Cruz.
"Too Many" is Dewhurst's first television ad attacking a fellow candidate in the race. The ad, about Cruz's work on a lawsuit involving a Chinese company, will air statewide starting today, according to the campaign.
Along with the ad, the Dewhurst campaign also launched a new website attacking Cruz as "a trial lawyer helping a Chinese conglomerate kill American jobs."
"Mojave," Cruz's new ad about his work on a case defending the constitutionality of the Mojave Desert Veterans Memorial, will also air in markets around the state, according to his campaign.
