The 2024 Texas Tribune Festival, which will be held Sept. 5-7 in downtown Austin, is a celebration of big, bold ideas about politics and public policy, featuring conversations with the leaders and influencers making the news. It’s for big thinkers who are personally interested in (or professionally connected to) politics, public policy or current events — anyone who cares about the influences shaping the future of Texas.
The list of big-name speakers continues to grow. Newly announced speakers include Academy Award-nominated director and screenwriter Richard Linklater; NPR President and CEO Katherine Maher; U.S. Rep. Pete Aguilar, D-California; and Luci Baines Johnson, the daughter of President Lyndon B. Johnson and Lady Bird Johnson.
