Jacob Sanchez was a newsletters fellow for the Tribune in 2016. At St. Edward’s University, he studied political science and journalism. Previously, Sanchez was an editorial intern at The Texas Observer, and an intern for The Quay County Sun and Clovis News Journal. Sanchez was the print editor-in-chief at Hilltop Views, the student newspaper at St. Edward’s. Sanchez is from the small West Texas town of Fort Stockton.
