The 2023 Texas Tribune Festival returned to downtown Austin for its 13th year. This year, we hosted nearly 300 speakers and over 125 sessions in three days, and brought big ideas about Texas politics and policy to attendees from all over the state and nation. Tribune photographers were there to capture moments on and off the stage. Here’s what they saw.
As The Texas Tribune's signature event of the year, The Texas Tribune Festival brings Texans closer to politics, policy and the day’s news from Texas and beyond. On Sept. 23, we wrapped our 2023 Festival — three lively days packed with 125+ sessions and events. Why you can rely on the Tribune during this legislative session
I hope this article helped you feel more informed about your state. At The Texas Tribune, we believe democracy only works if Texans understand what's happening in their Capitol and other halls of power. That's why I want to ask for your support ahead of the legislative session starting Tuesday.
Donations of any amount help our journalists cover state politicians, but a monthly or yearly gift makes the most impact, allowing us to invest in crucial in-depth journalism. You can rely on the Tribune to explain to Texans what’s being voted on under the pink dome in the coming weeks.
