As Hurricane Hanna makes landfall, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott warns residents to not forget coronavirus

As Hurricane Hanna closed in on the southern portion of the Texas coast, bringing strong winds, rain and National Weather Service warnings of a “life-threatening storm surge,” Gov. Greg Abbott discussed the state's preparedness.
“Any hurricane is an enormous challenge,” Abbott said in a news conference on Saturday afternoon. “This challenge is complicated and made even more severe seeing that it is sweeping through an area that is the most challenged area in the state for COVID-19.”
