High School GPA, Not SAT, Better Predicts College Success
Research out of the University of Alaska shows that standardized college entrance exams are missing the mark when it comes to predicting students’ academic performance in college. High school grade point average, or GPA, was a much better predictor of a student’s success in college-level math and English courses. (Education World)
