Program Brings International Teachers to U.S. Classrooms
Some school districts are pairing up with an organization called Visiting International Faculty to bring teachers from around the world into K-12 classrooms. Where the number of students learning English has increased dramatically over the last decade, visiting teachers from abroad offer much-needed support. An added bonus is bringing an international perspective directly into the classroom, where students bond with and learn from a person whose background may be quite different from any other teacher on staff.
