Department of Defense Hones Common Core Curriculum On Bases
Last fall, dozens of Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) elementary schools phased in a rebranded version of Common Core math curriculum that has received positive feedback from teachers and parents. As schools struggle nationwide to adopt new federal standards, DoDEA’s teacher training and deliberate shifts in classroom instruction methods serve as a replicable case study in successful program implementation.
