In Nod to Finnish System, Program Gives Kids Four Breaks for Recess
LiiNK, a new program developed by Texas Christian University and modeled after the Finland school system, is being deployed to kindergarten and first grade classrooms across Texas. Thanks to the program's four 15-minute recess breaks, teachers and parents are already seeing improvements in attention, energy levels and can track a decrease in bullying behaviors.
