Dr. Alfred G. Gilman, Nobel Laureate, Dies at 74
Dr. Alfred G. Gilman, a UT Southwestern pharmacologist whose work earned him a shared Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1994, died in Dallas at age 74. His groundbreaking work advanced the understanding of cancer, diabetes and other diseases. (The New York Times)
