Understanding Antioxidants and Cancer
Although antioxidant-rich foods, such as blueberries and dark chocolate, are often touted for health benefits, new research from researchers at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center shows that high doses of antioxidants may actually hasten the spread of cancer cells among those who have the disease.
