PA District Uses Computational Learning at All Grades
Thanks to the innovative ideas of a few lead teachers, the fast-growing district of South Fayette, Pa., has transformed the way its students and teachers approach learning. Students solve those smaller problems with STEAM, a take on the traditional STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) fields, but with the addition of “art.” Bringing music, architecture, drawing, and other art subjects into the overall learning strategy means students apply problem solving in every subject, and their test scores prove substantial academic gains.
