Before Black Friday, A Gift Guide for Kids Who Love STEM
An educator who started her career designing science curricula for Sesame Street, Melissa Jurist, has some holiday gift suggestions for parents. Now the K-12 education coordinator at the University of Delaware, Jurist receives inquiries about toys for kids interested in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) and has compiled a list of must-haves to create “learning labs.” One lab set is meant for ages 4-6, while the other covers the 7-12 crowd.
