Teacher Union Recommends Ways to Support Black Male Students
The American Federation of Teachers (AFT) has released a report detailing specific ways to bring about racial equity for black males both in and outside the classroom. Initiatives at the national, state and local levels include increased access to pre-K, cultural competency training for educators, and the recruiting, developing and retaining of black male educators.
