Black Women at Risk of Heart Disease

Heart disease, not cancer, is the leading cause of death for black and white women and is the leading cause of death for women overall, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Heart disease also put black women at twice the risk of stroke compared with white women, researchers say. (Detroit Free Press)
