How Much Sweating is Normal?

There’s no standard for how much sweating is normal because people have different baselines that depend a lot on biology, but fit people do sweat more than sedentary counterparts.

Since the passage of a 2007 law allowing state employees a 30-minute exercise break three times per week, state agencies have begun offering lunchtime workout programs. Last month, the Texas Department of Public Safety took home the "fittest large agency" prize in the state's GetFitTexas challenge.

There’s no standard for how much sweating is normal because people have different baselines that depend a lot on biology. But it’s true that fit people sweat more during exercise than sedentary counterparts, and women and thin people sweat less than men and obese people because their bodies are smaller. (Time)
