The collection and synthesis of data has begun to permeate the education landscape, and human resource management is no exception. Districts like Tulsa Public Schools are incorporating policies that use data to improve operations and hiring practices, as well as reduce staff turnover. Success, however, is dependent on the diligent collection of copious, meaningful data in addition to strategic and predictive analysis. (Ed Week)
