Clinton Links Immigration, Education Policy
At a Las Vegas town hall meeting delivered to an audience that included undocumented students, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton promised to expand on the current administration’s efforts to provide those students with a path to citizenship. Connecting young people's right to education with citizenship is a relatively new strategy, which Clinton justified by implying that immigration reform would strengthen families and communities.
