EPA Finds Voluntary Fracking Data Incomplete
An Environmental Protection Agency report found that a fracking database compiled voluntarily by the oil and gas industry lacks important data on chemicals and sources of water used by the industry. The gaps resulted from the voluntary nature of reporting, the refusal to disclose information on grounds of confidentiality and invalid or misreported information. The report can be found here.
