Mentorship May Improve Graduation Rates
High school graduation rates are at record highs, but dropout prevention programs are still working to effectively target those students most at risk for dropping out. Mentoring has been proved to improve attendance, promote students’ connections to school and adults, improve academic achievement as well as decrease the likelihood that a student will drop out.
