Kentucky Students Aim to Influence Superintendent Selection
A group of middle and high school students in Kentucky have organized to influence the appointment of Fayette County’s next superintendent. The students are members of the Prichard Committee Student Voice Team, an organization that seeks to empower young people to become a part of statewide discussions on education, policy and school governance. Rep. Derrick Graham, chairman of the Kentucky House education committee, recently agreed to sponsor a bill drafted by the group.(Washington Post)
