Alternative high school models come and go, but Quest Early College High School in the Humble Independent School District has shown that a focus on student support and real-world learning opportunities make for long-term successes. The school combines a culture of rigor, teacher effectiveness and collaborative partnerships to ensure its students graduate with college credits. In fact, 70 percent of Quest graduates earned an associate's degree from Lone Star College last year. (Education Week)
