Some Districts Find Alternate Routes to Testing Success
Texas SAT scores lag behind other states in reading and math, but the Eanes and Lake Travis school districts demonstrate an academic proficiency that competes with the rest of the nation. By concentrating on academic, social and emotional factors that exist outside the realm of standardized testing, administrators say that they are training well-rounded students who are better prepared for college.
