Even as water levels on Lake Travis drop with the continuing drought, leaving some waterfront residents high and dry, property values are rising. Residents and real estate agents are protesting what they see as a gap between appraisals by the Travis Central Appraisal District and the reality of a lake that has dropped 40 feet below average.
