New Abbott Web Ad, "The Fallout Continues"

GOP gubernatorial candidate Greg Abbott released his second web ad in as many days on Tuesday criticizing his Democratic opponent, Wendy Davis, for her ad released Friday featuring an image of an empty wheelchair.

"Sen. Davis’ ad may have provided the most common ground that experts, commentators and voters will find in this election cycle — everyone agrees that it is offensive and has severely damaged her credibility as a candidate," Abbott campaign spokeswoman Amelia Chassé in a statement. "By continuing to double down on her despicable ad, Sen. Davis is displaying a disturbing lack of judgment — and Texas voters are taking note."

Early voting in the Nov. 4 general election begins Monday.
