New Greg Abbott Web Ad, "Lost Cause"

GOP gubernatorial candidate Greg Abbott takes to the Internet on Monday to push back against his Democratic rival's controversial ad that appeared on Friday.

The Wendy Davis campaign's use of an image of an empty wheelchair stoked criticism that continued through the weekend. The Davis campaign has begun its own pushback against the criticism while the Abbott campaign is taking the occasion to highlight the critiques.

"Despite receiving near-universal condemnation from all sides of the political and media spectrum, Sen. Davis continues to defend her desperate and despicable ad," said Abbott spokesman Matt Hirsch in a statement. Sen. Davis’ decision to double down on her severe error in judgment is shameful and shows that she is unfit to be their governor."
