New Davis Spanish Language TV Ad Hits Abbott on Schools
Democratic gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis has a new Spanish language TV ad, focusing on her challenge on education funding to opponent Greg Abbott in their recent debate.
In that debate, which took place Sept. 19 in Edinburg, Davis asked Abbott if he was prepared to say he would abandon an appeal of a district judge's ruling that Texas' school funding system was unconstitutional. After footage of that moment, the ad talks to people on the street who also question Abbott's continuation of the legal fight.
Early voting for the Nov. 4 general election begins in less than two weeks, on Oct. 20.
