Study: Effective Teachers Key to Academic Success
Although parents lose sleep over many aspects of their children’s scholastic environment, a new book co-authored by UT-Austin sociology professor Keith Robinson suggests that the one overriding key to a student’s academic success is a superb teacher. Parents and administrators, research shows, should seek out educators who are intellectually well-rounded, have high expectations of their pupils, and are data-driven and inquisitive.
