Poll Reveals Wide Support for Education Reform
According to a recent poll conducted by the University of Texas at Austin and The Texas Tribune, a wide swath of voters from both parties would welcome sweeping changes to education. Despite ambivalence about the necessity of a college degree, respondents indicated support for such reforms as school voucher programs, higher pay for teachers and decreasing standardized testing.
