New Guidelines Released for Undocumented Students
The U.S. government has released new guidelines directing public schools to enroll all students, regardless of immigration status. Civil rights groups are celebrating the move, which is intended to end demands from some states that a form of documentation — such as a birth certificates or Social Security cards — be presented in order to enroll in school.
