First Lady Stresses Higher Education During Texas Visit
In an effort to improve domestic college attendance records, first lady Michelle Obama, during a recent San Antonio visit, encouraged high school students to pursue college. Once the world’s leader in college graduates, the U.S. has dropped to 12th globally. Obama led the students in a pledge to commit to enrollment, perseverance and graduation. (The Associated Press)
