Texas School Districts Show New Interest in Teacher Evaluations
Texas Education Commissioner Michael Williams said more than 70 school districts have shown an interest in signing up for a statewide pilot program for evaluating teachers. A 2013 agreement between the U.S. Department of Education and the Texas Education Agency will allow schools to opt out of the controversial federal No Child Left Behind program. (Texas Public Radio)
