The political arm of the Texas Medical Association, which advocates on behalf of Texas physicians and medical students, has announced a pair of endorsements for the upcoming May 27 runoff elections.

•    In the HD-10 GOP runoff, the PAC endorsed John Wray, who faces T.J. Fabby in the May election. The seat is open because the incumbent, Jim Pitts, R-Waxahachie, is not running for re-election.

•    In the HD-16 GOP runoff, the PAC endorsed Will Metcalf, who faces Ted Seago in the runoff. The seat is open because the incumbent, Brandon Creighton, R-Conroe, is running for a spot in the Texas Senate.

The PAC is still making endorsements for the upcoming runoffs and further announcements are expected.
