Stickland Airs First TV Ad
State Rep. Jonathan Stickland, R-Bedford, is rolling out his first television campaign ad of the primary season, telling voters he kept his word to vote conservative.
"Today, he's the top-rated conservative in the Texas House," the ad says. "Jonathan Stickland helped stop the expansion of Obamacare in Texas, fought wasteful spending, was named a taxpayer champion and worked to pass landmark pro-life legislation.
The freshman representative faces HEB ISD trustee Andy Cargile in the Republican primary in March.
