Voters typically hear directly from the candidates in political advertising. In a new twist, Lisa Fritsch, a longshot Republican candidate for governor, has released a web ad in which she doesn't talk at all. Instead, she holds up signs — such as "Don't Be Silenced" and "I Hear You" — to dramatize her view that average Texans are being ignored in politics today.
