Cornyn Ignores Stockman in New TV Ad

U.S. Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, unveiled a new TV ad Friday accusing the Obama administration of being "back-handed" and "astonishingly dishonest." He sidesteps any mention of any of his own opponents in the GOP primary.

U.S. Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, unveiled a new TV ad Friday accusing the Obama administration of being "back-handed" and "astonishingly dishonest."

Cornyn is facing seven opponents in the March 4 Republican primary, including U.S. Rep. Steve Stockman, R-Friendswood. While a pro-Cornyn PAC released a TV ad this week focused on Stockman, Cornyn's new ad does not mention him or any other primary opponents.

The ad is Cornyn's second television ad of the campaign cycle.
