Democratic attorney George Boll has filed to run for the contested Senate District 10 seat that Sen. Wendy Davis has vacated to run for governor. A former Colleyville city council member, Boll said he wil run to fight for "average working families."
"My parents worked hard to make a better life for their children, and I am running for state Senate to be a voice for the countless parents across our district working hard to make a better future for their own kids," Boll said in a press release.
Boll will face Fort Worth community activist Libby Willis and energy executive Mike Martinez in the Democratic primary in March.
