Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst, who is facing three GOP primary challengers in his bid for re-election, released a campaign video Tuesday highlighting his relationship with the grass roots and his skills as a listener. With brief cameos from Peggy Venable, the Texas director of Americans for Prosperity, and Toby Marie Walker, the president of the Waco Tea Party, in the background, Dewhurst says that the passion of conservative activists "keeps me focused on fighting for a stronger Texas" and that over the years he's learned the "most important thing I can do is listen."
