Video: In Ad, Staples Says He'll Fight for Texas' Future
In a new video, Agriculture Commissioner Todd Staples, a declared candidate for lieutenant governor in 2014, vows that he will fight back against progressives who want to turn tomorrow's Texas into the California or Washington, D.C., of today.
Staples packs in several themes in the two-minute ad, titled “Fighter." He takes aim at the recent IRS scandal in D.C. and Battleground Texas’ efforts to make Democrats a factor in the state, and he highlights his fight against the EPA and his efforts to protect the Texas borders.
