Video: Todd Staples Still Eyeing Lt. Gov. Seat

Texas Agriculture Comissioner Todd Staples says he is looking forward to running for lieutenant governor in 2014 — regardless of who else is on the ticket.

Three statewide elected Republicans — Comptroller Susan Combs, Land Commissioner Jerry Patterson and Agriculture Commissioner Todd Staples — have all expressed some interest in running for lieutenant governor. Staples said he looks forward to running in 2014 no matter who is on the ticket.
