T-Squared: Our New iPad/iPhone App!

Appy days are here again.

Late yesterday afternoon, Apple's App Store kindly put our latest technological offering out to market: a brand new — and, naturally, free — iPad/iPhone app containing our current news, blog posts, data applications and multimedia, our elected officials directory and our events listings. (Android and Blackberry lovers, we're coming for you next.) This is the culmination of many weeks of hard work by the company that built the app, IronOne Technologies, and a couple of patient, unflappable and generally awesome members of the Trib staff: Niran Babalola, Jacob Villanueva and Ben Hasson.

This release is only the first iteration; in the short term we'll be tweaking both the functionality and the features (for instance, push notification is not yet enabled, but it will be soon). Still, I love it, and you will too. It'll be your easiest, fastest and most reliable way to keep up with the latest politics and public policy happenings during the legislative session and beyond.
