Ads Infinitum: Chet Edwards' "Agree"
A new ad from U.S. Rep. Chet Edwards, D-Waco, goes after Republican Bill Flores' plan to privatize veterans' health care.
The ad, titled "Agree," uses a quote from President George W. Bush's Secretary of Veterans Affairs Jim Peake and Disabled American Veterans Legislative Director Joe Violante to make Edwards' case that the plan would "jeopardize care for combat wounded vets."

Here's the script:
Voiceover: John McCain's right: Facts count.
So what are the facts on Bill Flores' plan to privatize veterans' health care?
Even President Bush's VA secretary said it would "jeopardize care for combat wounded vets."
The Disabled American Veterans said it would "ration care" to our vets.
Rationing care for America's heroes?
Bill Flores just doesn't get it.
Edwards: "I'm Chet Edwards, and I approve this message."
