SD-26 candidate Trey Martinez Fischer released on Monday a new TV ad in the hotly contested special election.

The San Antonio Democrat is one of five candidates running for the seat being vacated by mayoral candidate Leticia Van de Putte. Early voting started Monday for the Jan. 6 special election. The top two vote-getters advance to a runoff if no one wins an outright majority in the first round.
